Today was a travel day. We rose early and
brought ourselves and all our luggage down to the van and headed for Fortaleza!
We arrived early afternoon and were greeted by Sonia Nascimento, national
President of Methodist Women’s Confederation, and Leila de Jesus Barbosa,
national Vice President. At Hotel Mistral we settled in, ate lunch in the
restaurant and discussed what we will be doing the next two days. Rosemary led
us in devotions and a number of us walked to the beach and strolled along the
board walk, admiring the ocean, enjoying the people and the little craft
booths. We met everyone else in the van and went to dinner at a seafood
restaurant where we ate on the patio across from the ocean and enjoyed many
delicious seafood dishes.
