Meredith lives in Columbia, South Carolina and attends Shandon United Methodist Church.
She is single with two dogs and three cats. Meredith is retired but she she works with a caterer part time. She also enjoys physical activities - completing her first and only marathon at age 50 and she hopes to do a Century Ride (100 miles on a bicycle) by the time she is 65.
Meredith is the Circle Leader for the Mary Campbell Circle and the Vice President of the Shandon UMW.
Since 1999, by the Grace of God, she has been able to go on foreign mission trips yearly, sometimes two trips a year. She has been to Central and South America, Haiti and Africa (Ghana, Nigeria, and Zimbabwe). These mission trips have been construction and medical trips. Meredith has also participated in Salkehatchie, attending the JET Camp for five years and the past two years she has gone with the Shandon Youth to Hollywood, South Carolina through Rural Missions for their Youth Mission Project. This mission trip will be a whole new endeavor for Meredith and she says "I am so looking forward to it."
