Janelle is the processing manager for a short sale negotiation company. Her company helps people sell their property as a short sale which prevents them from going into foreclosure. She also works part-time as a certified pharmacy technician at a family practice. Janelle's hobbies include reading, trying new foods/cuisines, working out, traveling, taking pictures, and spending time with loved ones. She also loves to bake & cook and wishes she had time to do it more often.
Why did Janelle choose to be a member of the Ubuntu Brazil team? "I have always had a interest in social justice issues. In 2007 I attended a UMW-Living Justice seminar in NYC about human trafficking & it was such an eye opening experience. If there is anything I can do to help raise awareness and find solutions, then I want to be involved! I also love to learn about different cultures. I'm excited to explore Brazil with my fellow teammates."
