Team Member - Suzanne

Suzanne lives in Perry, Georgia and has attended Perry United Methodist Church for over twelve years with her husband.  Their church is a small to medium sized church in a very small town.

Suzanne is married with three children and seven grandchildren.  She also has two very spoiled Chinese Crested dogs.  One is Hairless and one is Powder-Puff.  Suzanne has worked for seven years for a Baptist Association but will soon be leaving this position to open a non-profit to help trafficked women and children.  In her free time, she loves to crochet, sew and spend time with her grandkids.

Suzanne is currently the treasurer for her local UMW unit and has accepted the presidency nomination for next year.

This will be Suzanne's first mission trip and first trip out of the country. She found the passion or heard God's call to fight for abused women and children a few years ago. She attended a conference at Mercer University and was shocked at the number of women and children who are being exploited and abused. She was even more amazed how little was being done.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.  Romans 8:28
